Come prepared. Leave the health portal uploads off this website. The visit itself is unhurried and run by people who work in this office — not a call center in another state.
What to bring
- A photo ID and your dental insurance card
- Recent x-rays or a disc from your dentist, if they were not already sent
- A written list of medications
What the first visit is
Most first visits are consultations unless you have an emergency or a special circumstance. This allows you and Dr. Curtis to review all of your records and gives you the opportunity to ask him questions. The consultation ultimately includes an examination, imaging review, and comprehensive treatment planning with your expectations and desires at the forefront of the conversation. Dr. Curtis will tell you whether he recommends treatment, conservative management, waiting and watching, or referral to another specialist.
Insurance and estimates
Our office takes most PPO dental plans and we will help you understand what benefits your insurance will cover. This is often determined at the time of the consultation.
